Jared Smith
Asterisk Instructor Jared Smith received a Bachelors of Science in Computer Engineering with a minor in Computer Science from Utah State University in 2001. He has been providing Asterisk consulting services since 2004 and in February 2006 became a full time consultant for Sokol & Associates.
Jared is the Senior Consultant and instructor for Sokol & Associates. He is the creator of the IAX2 trunking technique and a co-author of Asterisk: The Future of Telephony. He is also one of the co-creators of the Asterisk Docs project. He currently lives in Virginia with his wife and 2 children.
