Linux Admin for Windows Admins Bootcamp
The Linux Administration for Windows Administrators Bootcamp is an intensive 5-day Linux Administration training course specifically designed for Windows system administrators who want to learn how to install, configure, and maintain systems that use Linux and other open source software.
The class assumes that the student already knows how to administer a network of Windows computers.
Upon completion of Linux Admin for Windows Admins Bootcamp, the student will:
- Have the fundamental skills to administer a Linux-based computer system
- Complete the LPI Level 1 and Level 2 certification tests.
Prerequisites
For best results, the student should have a strong working knowledge of TCP/IP Networking, Basic PC hardware technologies, and network operating system configuration experience such as Unix or Microsoft Server. The student should also know how to use one of the common Unix editors: vi, emacs, jove, etc.
